Torre Acqua Lofts Bogotá, Colombia: One of My Favorite Stays as a Digital Nomad

During my time in Bogotá, Colombia, Torre Acqua Lofts ended up being one of the best stays I had in the city. Located at Calle 18 #4-82 in downtown Bogotá, the property puts you right in the middle of the city while giving you some incredible views of Bogotá and the mountains surrounding it. From my loft, I could look out across the city skyline toward the mountains — easily one of my favorite parts of staying here.

A Great Bogotá Stay for Remote Work

I was working online during my stay, so having a space where I could actually get comfortable and be productive mattered.

The loft setup worked extremely well for that. I had reliable Wi-Fi, my own space to work, a private bathroom and an equipped kitchen, so it felt much more like having an apartment in Bogotá than staying in a traditional hotel room.

One of my favorite conveniences was having my own laundry unit. For anyone spending several days in Bogotá — especially digital nomads, business travelers or people traveling through Colombia for an extended period — having your own kitchen and laundry makes a huge difference.

Staying in Downtown Bogotá

The location also makes Torre Acqua Lofts a good base for exploring the historic and cultural side of Bogotá.

The Luis Ángel Arango Library is about a 12-minute walk away, while Chorro de Quevedo is approximately 900 meters from the property. That puts you close to La Candelaria, museums, restaurants, cafés and many of the places visitors will want to experience while exploring central Bogotá.

At the same time, I could return to the loft, get work done and enjoy the city from above.

The View

For me, this was the highlight.

Bogotá already has one of the most interesting city landscapes in Latin America because of how dramatically the city meets the mountains. Being able to see both from where I was staying made Torre Acqua memorable.

If you're looking for a place to stay in downtown Bogotá with city and mountain views, this is one I would seriously consider.

Yes.

Between the location, apartment-style setup, laundry, ability to comfortably work remotely and especially the view, Torre Acqua Lofts became one of my favorite places I stayed while visiting Bogotá.

For travelers who want to experience central Bogotá without giving up the conveniences of having their own apartment, it's definitely worth putting on your list.
